Program Description
A one-hour documentary that follows the Columbia River from its headwaters in Canada to the Pacific Ocean. Features Woody Guthrie music and people (past and present) who have lived along the banks of this scenic and majestic river. In addition to support from KCTS, was funded in part by Oregon Public Broadcasting, the Thurston Charitable Foundation and the Fales Foundation. In 1996, was used successfully as a pledge special in Washington and Oregon.
