Program Description
Daughters of Everest is a film about a women's expedition on Mount Everest and what this means to them as the first Nepali and Sherpa women to scale the holy mountain. The film will reveal how even given this great opportunity, the women still carry the burden of tradition and society within themselves, creating obstacles they did not anticipate. Ultimately, one of the women summit.
