A speech by Timothy Young before the Baton Rouge Press Club on August 2, 2010. Young is the Executive Director of the HIV/AIDS Alliance for Region Two, Inc. (HAART). He talks about the HIV testing process, Louisiana's health care rankings, the high amount of HIV and AIDS cases in Louisiana, the risk factors for HIV and AIDS, the services offered by HAART and its community partners in Baton Rouge, federal sources of funding for HAART, and the need for a greater emphasis on early testing.
